Is there a Cure for Erectile Dysfunction (ED)?
Many men won’t talk about it, but most of them experience some kind of problem with ED and their intimate physical relationships at some point in their lives. There's no shame in erectile dysfunction occurring and having said that, it can be very troublesome to diagnose the root cause. The good news is it usually can be treated.

It's easy to understand why this subject is not the main topic of conversation for men as they do not typically talk about health-related issues, especially this one, and wives and loved ones typically have to push hard to get them to go to a doctor for any reason. However it is important to visit a doctor to discuss erectile dysfunction even though you may find it hard to talk about.

ED is a condition that can sometimes be caused by stress or other mental and emotional issues that may be going on in a man's life, but a lot of the time the problem is physical and that should be ruled out first. For one reason or another, there is not enough blood filling the proper spaces and a man finds that he cannot not hold an erection like he used to be able to.

There isn't much of what could be considered a "cure" when it comes to erectile dysfunction. But there are many things that can help. Viagra is probably the most well -known, and there is also another drug you can ask your doctor about that works in almost the same manner. Many don’t know it, but Viagra was not originally meant to be a cure for erectile dysfunction, but rather a heart medication. During testing, the unusual side effect was found and the drug began being used for a new purpose.

There are some natural alternative solutions for this problem that men are now discovering and experimenting with. Some have good results, and others not so much. The herbs being studied for ED include Yohimbe, Gamma-Butyrolactone, Gingko, Maca, L-arginine and DHEA, among others.

Most of these herbs should not be used until you consult with your doctor first. There are some who are licensed in herbal medicines that you can also ask your physician about. Make sure any herbs you intend to take won’t interfere with other medications you might be taking. Many assume herbs are natural and therefore harmless, but that is not always the case. They can be very powerful stimulants for the body.

If stress is suspected as the problem, the cure for erectile dysfunction would consist of finding new ways to manage and reduce stress. This can be as easy as getting involved in a new exercise program like running or yoga. Exercise is a great way to reduce stress and to feel better all over. Breathing exercises that are associated with yoga are also great to use any time when stress might be taking over. Numerous men have found relief from ED just by consistently relieving their levels of stress.
